Acupressure for Anyone
Acupressure is a method of touching the body on specific acupoints, the same ones used in acupuncture, to promote holistic wellness. This ancient healing method, which predates acupuncture, has been practiced therapeutically for over 4000 years in Asia. In the current health revolution it is being used in holistic clinics and hospitals as a complementary modality.
Acupressure for Anyone (a 4-day class) teaches you simple but profoundly effective ways to apply acupressure principles and points to the clothed body. You will learn a gentle, precise and effective method to touch the body in a clean, clear way. You will learn how to easily work on yourself alone or with friends and family. You will be introduced to the SEVA (Sanscrit for selfless service) protocol which was designed after 9/11 to help with the shock and stress of emergency helpers at Ground Zero. It was so effective that it has since been taught around the world for stress relief in hospitals, hospices, clinics, from university students to Indian fabric dyers. This is a valuable method for addressing the stresses, strains and common problems that affect every individual and family.
During this workshop you will learn:
- how to touch the body in a caring, clear way
- special "spirit" and emergency acupoints for quick relief
- how to balance the body's energy
- how to promote deep relaxation and release stress
- how to address various common symptoms such as headaches, back aches, and colds
- Chakra Tai Chi, a movement meditation for alignment and centering
Anyone, irrespective of bodywork background, from ages 10 to 90, can benefit from the class, and it can also be useful for the healthcare professional who wants to include acupressure with other modalities.
Ample practice within class will assure that you can confidently take this form of acupressure wherever you go, for yourself, family and friends. A take-home handbook with points and point combinations is provided as reference.
Acupressure for Self Care
This three hour class teaches an acupressure protocol (The Seva Stress Release) that can be used for self-care, addressing a wide range of needs, including general relaxation and well being or extreme shock and stress. This workshop does not require previous bodywork experience. Anyone can learn this simple but effective way to help themselves. This dynamic and interactive workshop allows the participant to fully experience the Seva Stress release through demonstration and hands-on practice. Workshop participants learn a unique touch method, various effective acupoints and how to use this protocol for self care. In this workshop participants learn about the healing and transforming power of acupressure, practice techniques to use for self-care, learn Chakra Tai Chi, and take home skills they can use for the rest of their life.

Women's Health Protocol
The Women's health Protocol (WHP) is a pro-active approach to the health and well-being of all women using the ancient healing modality of acupressure. It was formulated honoring the sacredness of the female heart, breasts and reproductive system, while intentionally designed to address the individual needs of each woman bringing with it the present time, space, energy and awareness to the inner most physical parts of the female body, emotions and spirit. During this eight-hour class you will learn: The specific acupoints used and their combinations, the Central Channel, a specialized touch style used in Process Acupressure & Zero Balancing, how to work at interface, how to use this protocol on yourself, how to use the protocol on others, a grounding sequence. Clinical Acupressure
Clinical Acupressure 1: Basic Applications
This workshop teaches bodyworkers how to use acupressure to balance and energize the whole body and specific parts. Teaches more than 35 key acupressure points for the whole body. Demonstration and practice show the application of formulas for all parts of the body, such as the head, neck, back, face, chest, abdomen, pelvis, legs and feet, arms and hands, and many symptoms, such as blood pressure, constipation, digestive problems, headaches, etc. Participants receive a clinical handbook and study guide with more than 70 specific acupressure formulas for these parts and conditions. Appropriate for clinical applications. This workshop is offered for professionals with hands-on experience. Non-experienced practitioners should consider taking the SEVA/Stress Release workshop or seek approval from the instructor.
Prerequisite: None though students are strongly encouraged to experience one of our introductory workshops prior to attending our professional level trainings.

Clinical Acupressure 2: Meridians
is an intensive overview of the energetic meridian system used in Chinese Medicine, with a special focus on how to recognize, locate, and access these meridians in clinical practice. The purpose of this program is to provide an understanding of the Chinese meridian system, the energetic flow in the body and the chakras so that health care professionals, including nurses, can expand their health and healing repertoire for their patients/clients, their friends and family, and themselves; to see the body as more than a collection of physical symptoms and parts. The Western model of illness is expanded to include a holistic vision of the individual and the different paths to healing.
At the completion of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Describe acupressure and how meridians are formed
- Practice guided meditation and Chakra Tai Chi
- Describe each of the Five Elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood
- Identify the function, flow, five element points and therapeutic use for each of the 12 organ meridians
- Demonstrate how to read Chinese Pulses
- Demonstrate the design and execution of a complete acupressure session

Clinical Practica
Each 2 day practicum is an opportunity to expand upon the learning and experience of CA2 and/or PA3 or above. Each practicum will focus on a specific pair of organ meridians. Students will refine their skills for recognizing and working with the unique patterns associated with each meridian. Special attention will be given to the function and interaction of specific points, and the nature of each meridian as it applies to health, balance, and consciousness.

Process Acupressure 1: Gateway to Soul
PA 1: Gateway to Soul (4 days): Uses the basic PA whole-body acupressure protocol learned in CA1 or Intro to Soul Lightening Acupressure. Fundamental psycho-spiritual process skills are taught for working with the body and consciousness simultaneously as data arises from the body during bodywork. Our objective is to derive meaning and purpose from personal history and to find the soul as most valuable life guide. Introduces a model of the whole being--body. mind, emotions, soul--related to energy flow in the body. Teaches Chakra Tai Chi and consciousness related to the chakras.

Advanced Process Acupressure 1: Living in Soul
This 4-day workshop progresses process and acupressure skills. Practice with safely following and encouraging a person's natural process, to promote greater health and meaning of symptoms, life events. Workshop emphasizes soul work which includes life review and soul purpose. Advances basic PA protocol and Chakra Tai Chi.

Process Acupressure 2: Body and Personality Parts
This workshop relates body parts and symptoms to parts of the personality and psychological development. Uses the many acupressure protocols taught in Clinical Acupressure 1 to advance understanding of psychosomatic conditions. Links parts of the body to personality parts and explains their role in personality development. Teaches how to process and progress parts of the personality toward maturity.
In this 4-day workshop, you will learn how to identify and dialogue with personality parts (subpersonalities), learn how parts of the body relate to personality parts and symptoms, learn how to update and transform personality parts to serve present needs, practice many acupressure protocols from Clinical Acupressure 1 with peers.

Inner Child Healing
Process Acupressure skills, the Clinical Acupressure basic protocol, and processing methods are used to address many present symptoms or obstructions that are rooted in childhood wounds or teachings. Healing---in body, mind and emotions---is emphasized over simply remembering trauma. The student will learn how to identify, discharge and heal those traumas through tissue release with loving touch. The inner child's experience is validated and methods taught to re-pattern old obstructive thinking and behaviors.

This 7-day workshop brings PA 1, Advanced PA 1 and PA 2 into the context of traditional Chinese therapeutics, also expanding on the Meridian work learned in CA2. Participants are introduced to the 5 elements, pulse reading, and working with organs. They will learn light consciousness work and linking 5 elements to early core personality development. This 8-day workshop is designed to serve the practitioner, in their personal health, full human development and alignment with soul and purpose. Workshop content focuses on the eight major chakras, with acupressure formulas for each. Participants progress to higher levels of light consciousness work and follow human development through the chakral stages. Soul Lightning: Soul Singing
This 2-day workshop will elicit the light and sound of soul within every person. Through meditation, exercises, chanting, singing and soul stories we will dive deep within to uncover the wisdom, light, joy and power that lies at the core of everyone. Shamanic Process Acupressure
In this class, created by shaman Dawn Robins and Aminah, we will use the teachings gathered from ancient Shamanism and our own soul passages to empower us as more effective souls and light workers in a world that is now enlightening.In our rapidly changing world one pathway back to the multi-dimensional realms of the sacred can be found in Shamanism. The essence of shamanism and PA is the same - beyond all beliefs, cultures, and ages we are One, interconnected with each other and with all of creation. The class teaches: How to work at interface with the visible and invisible worlds; How to re-connect with our own inner knowing; How to recognize and attune to those spirits who have lost their way and help them come forward into the light.; Protocols to assist detachment from limiting energies (influences, attachments and possession as called in traditional shamanism); Refinement of extrasensory skills; Direct communication with nature and its spirits and finding power animals.

Ancestral Healing
The Basic Protocol and processing skills will be used to heal ancestral patterns that obstruct present life skills. Specific work focuses on healing ancestral patterns that have come down through ages (instead of individual instances) and reclaiming ancestral strengths that have not yet been owned. A soul-dominant segment focuses on soul relationships and soul purposes through ancestry.

Soul Work and the Spiritual Channel
This 4-day workshop utilizes the Basic PA Protocol and processing skills to focus entirely on soul work and cultivation of the spiritual channel. Participants will explore their spiritual history and locate spiritual strengths. They will release life factors which obstruct spiritual development and learn new ways to support it. Soul guidance and purpose are elicited. The four stages of spiritual life are described and practiced so that one can consciously engage in each. The class varies each time it is taught.

El Silencio: Soul Vision
This workshop with Aminah Raheem and Fritz Smith is an annual retreat in Borrego Springs, located in the magnificent 600,000-acre Anza-Borrego Desert of Southern California. The continuing focus of this retreat, with a different program each year, is individual transformation and world peace. It offers the student a breather from daily pressures to align with deeper purpose in a safe, energized container. The program builds on Aminah's and Fritz' 14-year experience from Rio Caliente, Mexico, and the many workshops they have presented in Borrego Springs. It will feature individual and group process, empowering rituals, world work, meditations, yoga, Chakra Tai Chi and bodywork, including but not limited to Process Acupressure and Zero Balancing. A special highlight is always El Silencio, a full day of silence alone in the desert with its transformational magic. Aminah and Fritz cultivate an atmosphere of unconditional acceptance for individual development through support of inner strength, peace, love and higher consciousness, all within the great harmony of nature.
