The outreach programs of Soul Lightening International range from community wellness training programs and service projects to global outreach and research initiatives. Our affiliations with like-minded organizations help us put the extraordinary gifts of Soul Lightening Acupressure into the hands of people around the globe.

In many cultures around the world there is a practice of giving service from the heart. Giving to another person with no expectation of personal gain (Seva) benefits the giver as well as the receiver. Such acts of compassionate service demonstrate how we are connected to all beings and share in their well-being. We believe that this kind of selfless service promotes a spirit of authenticity, honesty, integrity, and generosity that is deeply needed in the world.

Zero Balancing Health Association

Developed by Fritz Smith, MD in the early 1970s, Zero Balancing is a powerful body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the relationship between energy and structures of the body. Following a protocol that typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes, the practitioner uses finger pressure and gentle traction on areas of tension in the bones, joints and soft tissue to create fulcrums, or points of balance, around which the body can relax and reorganize. Zero Balancing focuses primarily on key joints of our skeleton that conduct and balance forces of gravity, posture and movement. Collateral Repair Project, Amman Jordan

In partnership with the Collaeteral Repair Project, Soul Lightening International has provided training in the Seva Stress Release to refugees in Amman, Jordan. Collateral Repair Project is a grassroots effort to bring much-needed assistance to refugees and other victims of war and conflict – those commonly referred to as “collateral damage”. We seek to repair some of this damage and, through these efforts, foster peace and reconciliation. We are located in Amman, Jordan – temporary home to hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Syrian refugees. CRP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Healing Services Program, Cleveland Clinic

A group of practitioners on the Healing Services team at the Cleveland Clinic are incorporating Soul Lightening Acupressure into their practice. The Seva Stress Release has become a featured element of their signature Code Lavender rapid-response team offerings.
Code Lavender is a personalized, rapid response holistic care service provided by the Healing Services and Spiritual Care teams. It provides emotional and spiritual support as well as grief counseling when a healthcare team, employee team, patient or family would benefit from additional well-being support within 30 minutes. A wide range of holistic care services are available to create a personalized experience. Supportive services are offered for 72 hours after the Code Lavender is called.

Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Maryland

Practitioners on the Integrative Medicine team at the University of Maryland Medical center incorporate Clinical Acupressure into their daily practice with patients at the bedside.
Integrative Medicine is the practice of medicine that reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing. For several years Soul Lightening Acupressure instructor Regina Rosenthal, PT, has been sponsored by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to host a booth at Abilities Expo events across the country. In 2017 she was invited to teach the Seva Stress Release at the Caregiver Day events offered at each Expo, also sponsored by the Reeve Foundation.
For more than three decades, Abilities Expo has succeeded in improving the lives of Americans with disabilities, their families, caregivers and healthcare professionals. This unique forum features three days of cutting-edge products and services, compelling courses, fun-for-the-whole-family activities and has become the leading event for the community of people with disabilities (PWDs).
